Naruto and Hinata:
Naruto and Hinata were still in Ichiraku's talking about the wedding. "So, Naruto, you need a wedding planner? "My friend TenTen is great! She's planned so many weddings, And Ino owns a flower shop I'm sure she can help you pick out flowers! Let's see roses... mabey lillies... or daisys! Mabey even-" "Whoa! Hinata slow down! I don't even know if she's going to say YES yet! So... anyway... moving on... what's it like having 'Teme as a boyfriend?" Hinata blushed. "Ano... Sasuke... he's sweet most of the time, he's cute, he's one of the smartest guys I know, It's just..." Hinata looked down. "Just... What?" Naruto asked.
"I feel like we're the same, but so different, too. I don't see him as my boyfriend... but, just as a friend. You know what I'm saying?" "Yeah, I do. Sometimes I feel that way with Sakura when we don't see each other for a while." Hinata nodded. "And, we've been drifting apart, and it's dangerous being a PD, with gangs like the akatsuki lurking about." "I know what you mean. Being a field reporter isn't a walk in the park, either. Sometimes, when you get dirt on someone, they go as far as hiring hitman after you." Hinata looked up. "I just hope Sasuke-kun and Sakura-san are OK."
Sasuke and Sakura:
At Purity Inn, a snowstorm was blowing outside. Sakura and Sasuke were in the lobby. Sakura was looking at the coroner's reports, and Sasuke was sulking on the couch. "I left Tsuki's car outside... in a SNOWSTORM... Aww man... I'm dead... She'll kill me..." Sakura looked at him. "Sasuke, It's not THAT bad." "You don't understand. Once, when we were kids, I accidentaly dropped her favorite teddy bear in the mud. She pinned me down, and hit me OVER AND OVER with a plastic baseball bat!" Sakura giggled. "Now, Aoi said the suicide victim was Souta Kodoru, the friend Higurashi and Naruka were staying with. Sigh... I'll do an autopsy later. But I don't think I'll find anything. It's probobaly a random suicide." Aoi walked in the room. " Hey. Looks like you guys'll be staying the night, considering Souta and the snowstorm. Sorry but you guys'll have to share a room." "WHAT! WE HAVE TO SHARE A ROOM? NO FUCKING WAY!" Sasuke yelled. Sakura pushed Sasuke back on the couch and stood up. It's fine. She looked at the Uchiha. "But YOU sleep on the couch.
Next Day W/ Sakura & Sasuke:
Sakura woke up refreshed, like she did every morning. Unlike most people Sakura absolutley adored mornings. When she didn't sleep in, which was all the time, she loved to watch the sunrise. Of course, the snowstorm was still raging outside, so her little morning routine wouldn't work out today. She sighed. Her favorite season was Spring, so she was very uncomfortable in a snowy place like this. Sasuke on the other hand, loved winter, so he was pretty content here. Sakura looked at Sasuke on the couch through the open door in her bedroom. She thought he looked cute, sleeping peacefully like that. The she shook her head. She wasn't supposed to think Sasuke, arrogant bastard, 'I'm better than everyone else' Uchiha, was cute! She got up, and decided to be nice and wake him up too. She came up, took in a breath and screamed, "HEY SASUKE, WAKE UP! " Sasuke jumped up, screaming, and looked scared until he saw Sakura practically rolling on the floor with laughter. "SAKURA YOU BITCH!" Said girl held up a hand. "Sorry. I couldn't resist. You almost looked cute when you slept, Uchiha.
Naruto & Hinata:
After their little "date" the night before, Naruto had offered to walk Hinata home. Hinata told him it was OK, for him not to, but Naruto, being Naruto, wouldn't take no for an answer. On the way, the pair walked down a familiar path, well at least it was to Naruto. Naruto walked the Hyuga to a flower-covered field. They sat down only meaning to watch the stars for a few minutes, but ended up falling asleep. Hinata woke up, using Naruto's shoulder as her pillow. She blushed, and tried to shake Naruto awake. "Naruto-kun, Naru-" She stopped herself, wondering why she added "kun" to his name. He stirred, and opened one sky blue eye. "Hinata-chan! Sorry, I only ment for us to stay here for a few minutes, and..." "It's fine!" She suddenly shouted. Naruto looked at the indigo-haired girl.
She was crying, but didn't show it. "Hinata-chan..."
A/N: Sorry! It's still super short! And, It's a SasuSaku fic, but I'm putting in a lot more NaruHina
than I thought. Gomenasai!
P.S: Most of the Crossing Jordan-based stuff doesn't come till the end, Sorry! I'm still new at this...
