"Hey, Hinata, can I show you something?" "Ano... sure Naruto." She said, taking a sip of her diet Coke. He pulled out an engagment ring, a large pink stone in the middle, and two emeralds on the side. "It's beautifull!" Hinata said, placing a hand over her heart. Suddenly her eyes widen. "Your gonna ask Sakura to marry you?" She practically shouted. He scratched the back of his head. "Uh... yeah! I'm pretty nervous." "Oh, that's natural. You'll get over it!" She said, but she couldn't shake the uneasy feeling she was getting. Was It jealosy? It couldn't be... she barely knew the man! Plus, Sakura was a friend. Not a very good one, I mean, They met each other through Ino, her best friend she met in middle school. Liking Naruto would be a betrayel. And she had Sasuke, too. But no matter how much she thought, the feeling wouldn't go away.
"Are we there yet?" Sakura asked. Sasuke was fuming. Purity Inn was a 5-hour drive, and she had asked the same question for the past two hours. Sakura smirked. She was saying that to get on his nerves, and they both knew it. "Are we there yet?" Sasuke couldn't take it anymore. "NO WE ARE NOT, BUBBLEGUM HEAD! NOW, WE HAVE ABOUT 3 MORE HOURS LEFT, SO WHY DON'T YOU SHUT UP SO I CAN DRIVE?" He said, red with anger. "Hmph. Fine, Mr. Meanie. Are we there yet?" She said, stifling a laugh. "THAT'S IT!" Sasuke shouted, about to strangle the 25-year old, but stopped when his cell rang. He picked up the black Motorola, and put it to his ear, and immeadiatley pulled it back. On the other line, was a VERY pissed Uchiha Tsuki. "SASUKE! YOU TOOK MY CAR? WHY THE HELL DID YOU WHEN YOU COULD TAKE YOUR -" Sasuke put the phone back to his ear. "Sorry sis. I'm on a case." "SO?" "So, I need a better car than that pickup!" "Ugh. OK, Fine. But I swear Sasuke, if anything so much as a scratch appears on that car, I'll KILL you." Sasuke gulped. "Gotcha." He said, and hung up. He turned to Sakura, who was grinning, a giggle escaping every now and then. "I finally found your weakness. Your sister. This is RICH!" Sasuke glared at her. "You will speak of this to NO ONE." "Alright..."
When they got to the hotel, a young woman probobaly about three, four years younger than them, was there. She had a blue and white sweater, jeans, and a white scarf on. She had long, Dark teal hair, and pink-purple eyes. She sniffed. She had most likley been crying. "Thanks for coming. I'm Aoi Hikari. {Aoi Hikari means Blue Light}
Sakura looked over the two corpses. She looked composed, where Sasuke looked like he'd throw up at any moment. "OK, Sasuke, I'm done. Help me get these two in body bags." Sasuke looked at her like she was crazy. "Uh-unh no way!" Sakura rolled her emerald eyes. "Stop being such a wuss." About 20 minutes later, they were in the library, talking about the case. Then, they spotted Aoi. "Oi! Aoi! Could you come here for a sec?" Sakura asked. She nodded. "Okay do you know anything about theese guys? Mabey who they are or-" Aoi cut her off. " Their names' were Higurashi and Naruka. A young couple that was staying with a friend here. They-" she was cut off by a loud, shrill scream. The trio rushed to the source of the scream, room 319, were a maid was standing there, shocked. when they got in the room, Aoi fainted, Sasuke nearly screamed, and Sakura's eyes were wied. Inside, was the body of a young man, a knife through his side.
A/N: That was longer, right? I kinda left off with a cliffhanger... sorry! Well anyway, PLZ REVEIW! And, it's my first Fic, so critisizm is appreciated!
