New Future Chapter 11

Naruto kept running.

He ran to her.

To Hinata.

''Don't worry Hinata, I'll get you back... I promise.''

Hinata's eyes sofened somewhat.

"N-Naruto-kun..."

"Naruto-kun... I don't know about this..." Hinata said, holding onto the rope in her hands for dear life.

"It's okay, Hinata! Don't you trust me?" Naruto said, placing a hand over his heart in mock hurt.

"W-well it's j-just that I-I..." Hinata didn't finish as Naruto pushed her off the small cliff and over a lake.

The blond thirteen-year-old kept shouting, "Jump off Hinata! Jump!''

Hinata reluctantly jumped off, screaming her head off as she landed in the freezing lake water, splashing murky blue water all over Sakura and Sasuke, who were on land, sunbathing.

"HEY!" They both shouted at the blunette. "COWABUNGA!" Naruto screamed, jumping in the water next to Hinata.

"NARUTO!" They all laughed.

"You're doing all this... for me?"

A hand touched her shouldure, and Hinata shivered.

"What do you think you're doing... Hinata-chan?''

"Pein-sama..."

''Kill him. Now." Pein ordred.

Hinata's eyes became distant yet again, watching Pein's rinnegan eyes, in a trance.

"Hai." She breathed, a dark look appearing in her eyes.

"Your fate is sealed. Now open the door to the Dream Corridor." Naruto walked towords two double-doors. It was as if someone was leading him there.

A bright light flashed, and he found himself in the park. Home. It was sunny for December, and the sky was clouded over by trees.

"Naruto-Kun!" Naruto blinked.

"Naruto-chan!"

"Oi! Gaki!" Those voices...

"Naruto-san."

"Naruto-baka!"

"Naruto!"

Naruto turned, and found himself face to face with all his friends. Sakura, Hinata... Lu, Hitomi, Tsuki. Even his friends from school. Ino, Kiba, TenTen, Lee, even Sasuke!

Everyone was alive and happy.

"Hey, brat. You seem pretty out of it. You okay?" Tsuki asked in her usual stoic voice, although it was laced with worry.

"Yeah, you look a little green around the gills, Naru-chan." Lu said, walking up to her little brother, placing a hand on his forehead. "You don't seem sick..."

Hitomi laughed, her usual happy-go-lucky attitude in play. "You two worry too much! He probably just had a bad dream. He was sleeping for quite a while, you know."

Naruto blinked. "Sleeping?"

TenTen put on a bright smile. "Of course! Naruto-san, don't you remember? We're at the park, celebrating Hinata's seventeenth birthday!" TenTen said, motioning to the blushing Hyuuga girl. She turned back to the blond. "You dozed off. I can't say I blame you, though. It's a beautiful day... warm sunshine, gentle breezes... soft grass..." TenTen trailed off, yawning.

"That's right... December twenty-seventh. Hinata's birthday." Naruto thought.

Sasuke raised an eyebrow as he walked up next to Sakura. "There's that stupid look again. Get your head out of the clouds, dobe!"

Hinata nodded. "What's w-wrong, N-naruto-kun?"

Naruto took in a deep breath. "It was the scariest dream ever... Ino, Kiba, TenTen, Lee, Sakura... you were all fine, but Hinata... Sasuke, Lu, Hitomi, and Tsuki... You guys... died. The ten of them looked shocked at that.

Hitomi's shock wore off first. "Y-yeah, but, it was just a dream! As you can see we're all perfectly fine! No one's dying anytime soon!" Hitomi laughed, but it was an empty laugh; everyone could easily see that.

...Everyone, but Naruto. "Thanks Hitomi-san."

Hitomi nodded. "Alright, everyone, let's go!" The indigo-haired woman shouted, pumping her fist into the air. She looked like a crazed teenager.

Tsuki nodded, ignoring her friends antics. "Yeah. I told Jodu to bring the cake. Knowing that idiot, he probably forgot all about it. We should call him." Tsuki finished, flipping out her silver flip phone. "Naruto, hurry up." The raven finished, calling over her shouldure.

Naruto sat up, his eyes closed in joy. "Right. You guys, this has been the weirdest day-" Naruto stopped. No one was there. He was all alone.

"Guys?"

"Aw, poor Naruto-kun..." Hinata said mockingly.

Naruto blinked, and swiftly turned around. "Hinata..."

The dark look was still in her eyes. "Pein-sama... says the weak Sakura will come back once you die. Sakura doesn't deserve you. No one does." Hinata said, unsheathing a purple-hilted sword.

"Hinata... I-" Naruto stopped, jumping away as Hinata started swinging the giant sword around.

"Hinata stop it!" Naruto shouted, knocking the sword out of Hinata's hands with his foot. Hinata dropped to the ground, hands covering her face; she was crying.

"Hinata...?" Naruto said, inching closer.

Tears fell onto the dark red carpet. But, instead of the normal clear color all tears hold, they were black- pitch black.

"Kill you..." Hinata sobbed.

"Hinata, I-" "No..." Hinata cut Naruto off.

"I want to kill... kill you... kill her... Pein-sama said she would come back... If I... killed... you..." Hinata sobbed again. "Hinata, please..." Hinata's hands balled into fists. "Shut up..." "Hinata..." "Shut up," Hinata said again, her voice cracking. "I love-!" "SHUT UP!" Hinata roared, her head jerking up, revealing her eyes, which were just black orbs.

"Hinata!" Naruto shouted in suprise.

"Just shut up and die!" Hinata screeched. "You think you had a tough life, right? Your parents up and dying like that! Right after your sister, too. Well how about having your sister die, living a Cinderella Story with out the happy ending?"Hinata asked, shaking.

''Hinata..."

Hinata narrowed her cold, dark eyes. "Just shut UP!" The da-tenshi cried out, forcing a pulsing blast of dark energy at the blond.

Hinata smirked. The smirk dissapered as soon as she saw the blast evaporate.

"Thank you Otoha..." Tsuki mumbled under her breath as she stumbled to her feet. She lowered the small dark blue shield-barrier. The wolf girl next to her smirked. "We're not that useless, now are we Tsu?" Ookami said, recalling the remark Tsuki had said earlier. The Uchiha turned to hear Sakura's frantic voice.

"Naruto! Naruto, wake up!" Sakura shook Naruto awake.

"Sakura?" The pinkette smiled. "You idiot..."

Naruto picked his head up. "Hinata... she's..." He stood and started walking towords the blunette.

Hinata took a step back. "S-Stay back!" The blunette yelled frantically, trying to release another blast of dark energy, but couldn't. She just couldn't.

"Hinata I..." The Hyuuga took a couple steps back, and into the wall behind her. Naruto hugged her, and Hinata's wings drooped.

"...Love you." Hinata's coal eyes widened as they returned to their regular lavander colour.

Hinata, Naruto, and Sakura stood on what seemed to be a lake. Hinata had changed out of the black dress she once wore, and was now wearing a more modern version of her shinigami outfit.

"Welcome." A warm voice said. The three teens turned and looked at a woman with long silver hair. She had soft, warm violet eyes and wore a white gown with gold embroidery.

"Who are you?" Naruto asked cautiously. The woman laughed lightly. "My name's Hoshina. Hoshina Rukyuu." Her smile went away, and was replaced with a somewhat stern look. "Hyuuga Hinata. You have commited serious crimes despite the little time you spent here. As much as it pains me to do this...rules are rules. You are hereby exiled from all four worlds; Bijuu, Akuma, Human, and Tenshi. You will not become a ghost, either, but a soul left to wander the darkness."

Sakura took a step forward. "You can't do that! If you're going to punish anyone, punish me! Hinata doesn't deserve this..." Sakura stopped. Naruto and Hinata were gone.

"Where did-?" "Haruno Sakura, you, a human, wish to take the place of an immortal?" Sakura nodded, her pink hair flowing behind her. Hoshina sighed. "Very well. You are hereby banished from all worlds. No one will remember you. It will be as if you never even existed.

Sakura took in a deep breath.

"Hai."

A/N: Here.

I wanted to end it here because I liked the idea of two pretty short chapters instead of one long one.
